The Ultimate Q2 Checklist!
Hello TBI Tribe,
I can’t believe we’re already in quarter two. I feel like I was only saying happy new year two seconds ago. Anyway, happy new month!
The first quarter of the year has come to end, and I want to share some tips on how to ensure you continue to crush your goals in quarter two.
The first step is to:
1. Reflect on your progress: Take a moment to look back at the first quarter and evaluate your accomplishments, areas of improvement, and goals. Reflecting on your progress can help you identify what worked, what didn't, and what changes need to be made for the second quarter. This is so important!
2. Set new or renewed goals: Sometimes the year can reveal what goals should stay and some should leave, this could be as a result of improved clarity. So, set new or renewed goals for the second quarter based on the progress you have made. Remember, your goals should be SMART and aligned with your personal and professional aspirations.
3. Update your progress and share your wins: I know many people do not like to talk about their wins but please do, it is not bragging, it is a way to remind you of how far you have come. I have noticed that doing this even attracts more wins and helps you remember how awesome you are on your low days. While doing this, take the time to review your resume and LinkedIn to ensure they are up to date with your latest achievements, skills, and experiences.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Stay up to date on trends and technologies. Right now, everyone is talking about Artificial Intelligence, have you taken out some time to research this and how it relates to your industry? Learning never stops if you want to stay relevant.
6. Priotize Self-care: You work so you deserve to rest too. Avoid burnout by caring for overall well-being. Engage in activities that help you relax or reduce stress. You define what self-care means to you. To show up as your best self in quarter two, you need to be healthy.
I believe that doing these can help you start the new quarter better organized and ready to smash your career goals.
Did this help you? Please feel free to write back to me!
Talk to you next week Monday, Cheers.
